About us

The Pacific Cup Tournament was launched in 2019.

Original Participating Nations were Pacific Maori, Samoa, Niue & Cook Islands. Held over one Sunday, the first tournament saw Under 10 - 14 boys and girls grades, in addition to Open Men and Open Women.

Our founding committee for the inaugural Pacific Cup consisted of: Riki Enosa, Pat Spellman, Harley Wall, Lucky Smythe, Wade Brunsdon, Jerome Mika, Karl Samupo & Jo Joe.

In 2022, after two years of Covid-19 forced cancellations - we were able to finally welcome the return of our tournament over two days at Gallaher Park in Manurewa.

Pacific Cup Sports Trust is an Auckland based not for profit focused on helping grow pasifika participation in Touch. Our main vehicle for achieving this objective is the annual Pacific Cup Touch Tournament.
